Rock Bingo – Break World Record on World Down Syndrome Day
Mar 23, 2019 by Downsyndromecentre Cork
An amazing day had at The Rock Bingo, Deanrock for World Down Syndrome Day.
Rock Bingo has officially achieved their aim of being a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD HOLDER – “Worlds largest bingo card”
Rock Bingo is Irelands biggest Bingo hall with 1,000 seats. They will held a coffee morning & attempted to break the world record for the largest bingo card in aid of the centre. Which was achieved. The day was a huge success. The centre would not continue without this support.
Rock Bingo is a family run business, Philip, who organised this super event and who had the idea to hold the Guinness World Record attempt. Philip had been trying to think of ways to support the centre as his nephew Nathan attends. Janice, sister to Philip and mum to Nathan says that “DSC Cork has not only been a support for her son Nathan, but it’s also an outlet for her.”
We are humbled by the support shown by family, friends and the wider public. Thank you so much for supporting this event and turning out in huge numbers to help break the World Record.
